Centennial Electric Dryer with GentleBreeze™ Drying System
This dryer performs exceptionally well.
The best features of this dryer are its large capacity and the number of drying options available.

Easy to use, durable
We wanted a simple back to the basic dryer with easy to use controls without all the LED and electronics that have taken over the appliance market. This dryer does everything you ask for, easy to set and get the clothes dry without a bunch of fancy features and dozens of cycles no one every uses.

Getting the job done
We purchased this dryer a few months ago to replace a may tag that was over 25 years old. The old dryer was super heavy so when comparing the old one to the new one the parts as well as the body just doesn't feel as durable. But thats the case with most appliances these days anyway. But so far it is working great. My husband reversed the door to open from the right side instead of the left and it took him a little longer than he expected but he got it done. My only complaints with the dryer is that sometimes the door is not as easy to open or close with out pulling on it really hard or slamming it shut. And this was even before he reversed the door. And the lint tray is on the top as compared to the bottom near the door of our old one. I didn't think it were a big deal until I began to clean it and when pulling it out, lint is all at the top of the dryer. Yes, I can just wipe it off but that's extra. But other than that, it has a lot of settings, it dries pretty quickly, and it is large enough to dry lots of blankets at one time.

Solid Performer, Excellent Value and Quality
I am so pleased with my choice of this dryer. I looked at a lot of alternatives but found nothing that beat it for value. It does everything I need it for. It is very reasonably priced for its capacity and has plenty of features. I hate a small tub, and this one is roomy enough for a full load from my extra-large washer, also a Maytag but now about 10 years old. It is well built and sooo much quieter than the (non-Maytag) dryer it replaced. I mostly use the low heat setting, and I find that with my typical mixed load the more-dry option gets even my husband's heavy cotton overshirts dry without damaging my delicate undies. Occasionally I will have to give thick towels a little extra time, which doesn't bother me.Before I decided to buy this model I saw that at least one reviewer complained of wrinkles setting in. If I have not removed clothes promptly I give them a brief touch-up. Have never had a problem.

this product has the best features
In my 75 years of Life, I have purchased many pairs of washers and dryers. Raising a family of 4 children plus the parents will make you go through quite a few. The second last washer I bought was a Maytag top of the line washer, Neptune. I was totally satisfied with the running silence of it and; the way it cleaned the laundry. My dryer however was not a Maytag so I cannot comment on it's performance. In June of 2011, I purchased my new Maytag washer and dryer and every time I take the laundry from the washer, I can't help but examine each piece to see how wonderfully clean it is. Placing them into the new dryer is my next best experience, because when it signals me that the clothes are ready, I am absolutely "blown away" at the beautiful "pressed appearance" of the clothing.I hang them up or fold them (warm) and they are good as if I just brought them home from the store. The new feature of wrinkle free means every letter of what it says. Thank you Maytag engineers for producing these EXCELLENT machines. Maytag forever, Priscilla N. Dothan Alabama

This product offers the minimum in all categories of its intended use
1. very disappointed in performance. it never dries everything in one cycle. you have to set it on high heat for the full heavy load and then set it again on low heat/more dry to finish
2. the energy saving feature is the only feature I'm aware of on this basically stripped down model of a dryer. I guess that works if you don't want your clothes completely dry
3. removing the lint screen is impossible without getting lint all down in the machine
4. the only way the wrinkle guard works is by leaving the most annoying buzzer turned on. otherwise, the machine stops and if you're not right there to take out the clothes, they will be full of wrinkles.
5. it claims to have noise reduction, but it is not a quiet dryer at all
6. I am not happy with this product. I wish I had enough money to upgrade to a better dryer. But I let the salesman talk me into this stripped down minimal performance model. He said to me, "a dryer is a dryer" and I thought he knew what he was talking about.

I'm very pleased with my dryer.
I was pleasantly surprised with my new dryer. I was able to have my load of clothes dried in 20 minutes or less! That in itself was wonderful. I also love the energy preferred selection. It does not run very long, it dries the clothes then cools down so there is not constant heat. There is less wear and tear made on the clothes. They come out of the dryer wrinkle free , or with only a brief touch up with an iron.
The capacity is wonderful. I am able to dry my King size bedspread! No more going to the Laundromat. Yea!!
I highly recommend this dryer.
