This is only the third dryer I have ever owned in the 48 years I have been married and the first Maytag. even tho I am somewhat technology challenged, it is easy to operate and according to my power bill statement, very efficient. The lint trap shows me how very poor my previous dryer was at removing lint and trapping. I haven't used the steam feature yet, but I am sure it will give me a good surprise. This Grandmother wishes I had been a Maytag owner many years ago!

Its super easy to use, does a great job and playing around with the app is kind fo cool; actually, has a service issue and was able to fix it on my own with the app, so useful well. Only mistake I made was not purchasing the stand/storage units.

The auto soap dispenser makes it so I only need to add soap every 20 loads or so. Washes great. It’s quiet and just makes life that much easier.

My husband chose to replace our washer in 2014 with a different brand..the dryer was a replaced in 2016..same brand as the washer. It was a lemon so we went back to Maytag for a set in December 2019. There are so many choices for drying various loads but we figured it out in a week. Unlike the washer, the dryer starts immediately. I really like it. My only complaint is the chime feature at end of the cycle. I never could figure it out. My husband has 3 college degrees (last in information systems) and he has not been able to get it working..once we had a very faint beep. Meantime we are using the stove timer, which can be heard all over the house, to time our loads...a bit annoying.

Very quiet, and that is an outstanding characteristic. It is nearly silent one floor up. Gets the job done without taking too much effort and energy.

Its real easy to use, lots of customization, and really like the steam dry the most to freshen up shirts that I forgot to Iron. I used to go to cleaners, because old Dryer would make dress shirts wrinkled so bad it would take forever to Iron. With the steam feature, stuff doesn't come out perfect, and dress shirts maybe need a 1 to 2 min touch up ironing, such that i don't use the dry cleaners anymore and save money annually.

The features (once you get comfortable with them) yield excellent results. If you let the sensors do the work - the cycle may take a bit longer - but you save time on the other end of the laundry job. I have the matching washer - what a team! At first I thought I was being ridiculous in my spending - but no longer! Worth every penny! The pedestals are overpriced - but bring the set to a great height for doing laundry, I would not give them back!
