Maytag.com Limited Product Warranty

 

For customers purchasing a qualified Maytag® Major Appliance product directly from Maytag.com during the offer period, Maytag will extend the portion of its manufacturer's limited parts & labor warranty that normally runs for 1 year for an additional year, for a total of 2 years of coverage. Models with existing parts or parts & labor warranties longer than 1-year are excluded and keep their original warranty terms. Excludes Maytag® Commercial Laundry. Maytag® major appliances with a 10 year limited parts warranty on certain component parts will keep the original parts warranty terms for 10 years from the date of delivery. Except for the duration of the coverage period as described herein, all other terms, conditions, and exclusions of the Maytag manufacturer’s Limited Warranty apply to this Limited Warranty extension.

 

Eligible categories include: Dishwashers, Ranges, Cooktops, Microwaves, Built-in Ovens, Laundry, and Refrigerators.

 

This offer is valid only for purchases made directly from February 5th, 2026 to February 25th, 2026.  Customers are not required to take any action to activate the 2 year Limited Warranty once they make their qualified purchase on Maytag.com; it is automatically included. This provides you with a total of two years of coverage for parts and labor to correct defects in materials or workmanship that existed at the time of purchase.

For qualified major appliances, the second year provides the same "Parts and Labor" coverage as the first year of the manufacturer’s Limited Warranty. Maytag will pay for factory-specified replacement parts and repair labor to correct defects in materials or workmanship as outlined in the original manufacturer’s Limited Warranty. At its sole discretion, Maytag may also choose to replace the product. Service must be provided by a Maytag designated service company. No. The 10-year manufacturer’s Limited Parts Warranty on certain component parts (such as the dishwasher tub, washer drive motor, or refrigerator compressor) remains in effect from the original date of delivery. Yes. The exclusions remain the same as the manufacturer’s Limited Warranty, including:

  • Commercial or non-residential use.
  • Consumable parts like light bulbs, batteries, or filters.
  • Cosmetic damage (scratches/dents) unless reported within 30 days of delivery.
  • Damage resulting from accident, misuse, or improper installation.
  • Incidental or consequential damages, such as food loss due to product failure.

Using unauthorized service providers or non-genuine parts will not void your warranty. However, any damage or defects caused by those unauthorized services or parts are not covered by the warranty.
