How do I get the trial started?

In the app, select Add Appliance to get started. Step by step guidance will help you get connected and start the free trial.

How long is the trial period?

Your free trial lasts six months, beginning when your appliance is first connected to WiFi. Free trials are only available for new connected appliances and cannot be used by subsequent owners.

How do I check when my free trial ends?

Your free trial end date will be shown to you in your Maytag app.

Which appliances does my subscription cover?

Among Maytag® washers and dryers with smart capabilities, top load models require a connected subscription while front load models don't.

Models that require a connected subscription:

Washers - MVW8230H, MVW7230H, MVW7232H, MVW6230H and MVW6230RH.

Dryers - MED8230H, MED7230H, MED6230H, MED6230RH, MGD8230H, MGD7230H, MGD6230H and MGD6230RH.

Models that don't require a connected subscription:

Washer - MHW8630H.

Dryers - MED8630H and MGD8630H.

Each subscription covers either qualifying smart washers or smart dryers. If you would like to enable smart features on both your qualifying smart washer and smart dryer, you will need two subscriptions.

Can I use a connected subscription on multiple devices in my household?

Yes, you can use your connected subscription on multiple devices—as long as all devices log into the Maytag app using the same user account.

How do I cancel my connected subscription?

To cancel your connected subscription, check under your phone's subscription account settings. Additional instructions are available from Apple and Google.

You must cancel your paid connected subscription at least 24 hours before the end of your current billing period to avoid being charged for the next billing period. After cancellation, you will have access to your subscription features through the last day of your current billing period.

Does my subscription automatically renew?

Yes, your paid subscription will autorenew month-to-month, with no action required by you, until you cancel. Your app store (like Apple or Google) will simply bill you each month, like any other app subscription.

How do I check my next bill date?

How do I update my payment method?

Update your payment method within the Google Play or Apple App store.
