Refurbished appliances have been returned after initial purchase. They are cleaned, inspected and tested for defects before being sold through the Maytag Certified Refurbished Program. Closeout appliances have never been purchased or used. They are discontinued appliances offered at a reduced price while supplies last.

Both Refurbished and closeout appliances are sold under warranty, with separate and distinct warranty terms for each of these two types of appliances.

Maytag closeout appliances are sold while supplies last. Stock is limited, since these appliances are closeout models which are no longer in production. The selection of Closeout products is frequently updated, as models sell out and new ones become available.
