Convection Microwaves
Frequently asked questions
Convection microwaves add versatility to microwave cooking, offering more even cooking with the convection setting, faster cooking times due to the combination of convection and microwave cooking, and racks that allow you to cook multiple dishes at once.
You can bake, roast and sometimes even broil in a convection microwave, like an oven. However, because the cooking cavity is smaller, it’s best for small portions or single dishes. If you often cook large meals or batches, keep your oven and use the convection microwave as a supplement.
Convection microwaves can function much like your oven, roasting foods like chicken, baking cakes and cookies or crisping up a pizza.
You can typically use the same cookware in a convection microwave as you would in a standard mode. When using a convection only setting, you can also use standard oven-safe cookware like metal pans or ceramic.
